Shortly after the September 11 terrorist attacks, one of our members found a World War II-era Army/Navy field hymnal at the Battleship USS North Carolina Memorial gift shop. It contained the lyrics to "Taps" and, since Veterans' Day 2001, we've been singing it for our audiences.
